I built this after noticing how often traders lose on time based outcomes when their actual thesis was about directional strength. The read is correct, the contract expires before the move arrives, and the position is settled by the clock rather than by the market. Relative Index Markets is a demo of a market shaped around the thesis instead. The outcome resolves on which direction reaches real strength first, and nothing expires. It borrows its mechanics and interface from prediction markets, runs on live gold and bitcoin data, and you can enter orders in it.

TradingView is the most widely used charting and data visualization platform for traders, and tools for it are written in a language called Pine Script. I have been building there for several years, across long horizon ETF investing, intraday futures, and volume and order flow analysis. Almost all of that work is private. Two of the simpler scripts I made public have collected dozens of community boosts.

What stayed with me is that there is no correct style, only styles that fit the person running them. Most of the traders in it would have lost money using each other's systems.
The core idea is that you cannot evaluate a decision by its result when the result is probabilistic. It took me a long time to actually believe that rather than just agree with it.
The argument is that competition destroys returns and the goal is to find something nobody else is doing. That is also why crowded trades stop working, and it changed how I think about where an edge actually comes from.
